CBS News is completely overhauling "The Early Show" broadcast team.

Co-anchors Harry Smith and Maggie Rodriguez are out, along with weather forecaster Dave Price. The morning news show's new anchor team will be Chris Wragge and Erica Hill, who have worked together anchoring CBS' Saturday-morning show. Hill is also the current news reader for the weekday version.

Billie Joe Armstrong apparently liked his Broadway debut in "American Idiot" — he's signed on to return for 50 performances.

Producers say the Green Day frontman will reprise the role of St. Jimmy in the musical that his songs inspired beginning Jan. 1 and ending Feb. 27 at The St. James Theatre.

The rural crime thriller "Winter's Bone" earned a leading seven nominations Tuesday for the Spirit Awards honoring independent film, including best picture and acting honors for Jennifer Lawrence, John Hawkes and Dale Dickey.

Also nominated for best picture were James Franco's survival tale "127 Hours," Natalie Portman's ballet drama "Black Swan," Ben Stiller's dark romance "Greenberg" and Annette Bening's lesbian family drama "The Kids Are All Right."
