Kane is in the building...

The Blackhawks will start defending their Stanley Cup title tonight in Vancouver. And everybody including Barry Melrose is picking the Canucks to win this series and the western conference as well. But not so fast my friends... here are the top 3 reasons why we can win this series:

1-We have their number- We've knocked this team out of the playoffs the last two seasons, and we did it convincingly. Its eerily similiar to Bulls-Knicks in the '90s. No matter who they traded for or signed as a free agent, from Larry Johnson to Gerlad Wilkins, they just weren't going to beat us. Same goes for Vancouver, they are better, faster, tougher than last year, but their still the Canucks and we are still the best franchse in hockey. NEXT!!

2- Our top scoring threats are better than theirs- Toews, Kane, Hossa, and Sharp are slightly better than the Sedin twins, Kessler and Burrows. We don't have the glue guys like we did last year, but we still have the scorers. If we can get them to play our fast paced style, it will be another long series for Luongo. Which brings me to my final point...

3- Roberto Luongo is a choker- Time and time again, Luongo has melted under the pressure of playoff hockey. I mean, the clown was pulled in 2 of the 6 games last year against us. Now, I know he is an All Star caliber goalie. But thats regular season, this is a different animal. All it takes is one early goal tonight, and Luongo (and the Canuck fans) will be thinking here we go again.





ps- Im gonna miss Big Buff tonight. They hated him in Vancouver and he fucking loved being hated there.
