NBC Announces Mid-Season Schedule; Renews ‘30 Rock’ Posted: 15 Nov 2010 01:14 PM PST NBC is changing things up for their winter / spring line-up, including expanding their Thursday comedy line-up to three hours. Today, the Peacock network made several mid-season schedule announcements, including the premiere dates for four new series – the dramas "The Cape" and "Harry's Law," the comedy "Perfect Couples" and the alternative series "America's Next Great Restaurant." The new lineup also includes series time period changes for "Law & Order: Los Angeles," "Chase," "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" and "Parenthood." Plus, the network renewed "30 Rock" through the 2011/12 season. |

Wesley Snipes Argues For New Trial In Florida Posted: 15 Nov 2010 09:56 AM PST Federal attorneys have asked a central Florida judge to revoke Wesley Snipes' bond if the actor is granted a new trial. Snipes did not attend the hearing Monday in a federal court in Ocala. His attorneys say he deserves a new trial because two jurors have come forward with claims that in 2008, other jurors had decided without hearing any evidence that Snipes was guilty of willfully failing to file federal tax returns. They also say prosecutors hid damaging information about a key witness. |
