Posted: 14 Nov 2010 09:01 PM PST Bristol Palin may look like she doesn't even want to be there half the time, but apparently lots of other people must want her on Dancing with the Stars, because the "teen activist" keeps on surviving week after week when other, clearly better dancers are shows the door. Which leads to many questions: How is This posting includes an audio/video/photo media file: Download Now

Dancing's Derek Hough: Show's Focus on Jennifer's Injuries Has Been "Overkill" Posted: 14 Nov 2010 06:28 PM PST It was a long time coming. The season's first perfect 30 was finally awarded on Dancing with the Stars last week. "Jennifer [Grey] and I really couldn't believe it, especially for the Instant Dance," Derek Hough tells TVGuide.com. "I was so proud of her and I'm so impressed. It was a tough week. We were waiting for the doctors to give her the green light for her knees, and they did, and she just killed it." The Dirty Dancing star's injuries and doctor visits have been well-documented — perhaps to a fault, Hough says.

Last week, viewers mourned the loss of Cathy's curmudgeonly neighbor-turned-confidant after she decided to end her battle with Alzheimer's. "We all grieved the loss of that character and for the writers in the room, we were grieving months ahead of even telling the actress [Phyllis Somerville]," creator/executive producer Darlene Hunt tells TVGuide.com. "The idea came about to have that character die, and I was personally like, 'We could never!'"
