GMA primetime queen Marian Rivera has a new soap opera coming soon on GMA entitled 'AMAYA', it is said to be the first historical soap opera in the Philippines. Rumors has it that his ex-boyfriend Ervic Vijandre will be Marian's leading man.
It’s a story about Bai Amaya, Bai meaning “Princess” in Islam.
“The story dates back to the 1500s. We are coordinating with the historical department of the University of the Philippines to make sure that every detail on this show is accurate,” said Lilybeth Rasonable, GMA-7′s Vice President for Drama.
