Ali Fedotowsky Lands View-Like Talk Show

She's won over America in primetime as ABC's Bachelorette, and now Ali Fedotowsky will try to appeal to daytime viewers in a new weekly talk show for the Style Network.

Fedotowsky, 26, will join cohosts Adrianne Curry, Vivica A. Fox and style expert Nick Verreos to helm Style's new half-hour series, the network confirmed Tuesday.

According to a press release, the as yet untitled show will "tackle anything and everything that's of interest to Style viewers. From exciting in-studio guests to product demos, makeover segments, field segments and a studio audience, this new daily show will be just as Style-ish as it is informative and fun."

Nicole Richie wants to dethrone Oprah as the queen of talk!

Now that Oprah is retiring her top-rated talk show after 25 years, Nicole is hoping to take her place and is working on a pilot for her daily talk show. "Nicole loves the idea of hosting her own show," a friend says. "She sees herself as the next Oprah."

And The View’s TV host Elisabeth Hasselbeck thinks she has what it takes! “I think she’s lovely. I think she’s the most wonderful woman,” Elisabeth told In Touch at the More and Fitness Magazine Half-Marathon on April 3. “I have a feeling she can do anything.”

Nicole’s pal adds that the concept of the talk show will include segments on fashion, celebrity guests and parenting tips, in addition to helping people improve their lives. "Nicole went from being a heroin addict to a happily married wife, mother and successful businesswoman," her friend says. "She'll share her own struggles and victories in hopes of helping others."
