Nick Lachey: Engagement To Vanessa Minnillo Was ‘Perfect’

Nick Lachey is beaming about his recent engagement to fiancee Vanessa Minnillo.

"I think that we have a great relationship. The good thing about our situation is that we kind of took our time with it. We've been together four and half years, so it's just, the right thing at the right time for us," Nick told Billy Bush and Kit Hoover on Access Hollywood Live on Monday, when asked about his November engagement to his longtime girlfriend.

Academy Awards winners Sandra Bullock, Jeff Bridges, Halle Berry and Marisa Tomei are among stars appearing on the next Oscar show, along with past nominee Oprah Winfrey.

Academy overseers announced Monday that all five will serve as presenters on the Feb. 27 telecast.
