It was a great year for TV, which made it very difficult to choose the top 25 episodes of 2010. Recalling and, in some cases, rewatching the stand-out moments was a holiday treat. We got our first glimpse of a bespectacled Clark Kent and saw Snooki pummel Angelina. We wept as Jack Shephard took his final breath and cheered as Leslie took down a mischievous rodent wreaking havoc in Pawnee. When ABC's V returns, the alien invasion series will welcome a very familiar face.

Jane Badler, who starred in the original 1983 miniseries, returns to the world as Diana, the mother of the ruthless leader of the Visitors, Anna (Morena Baccarin). While her character's name is the same, the new Diana is nothing like the Diana of before. (Makes sense: Theseries is areboot, not a continuation of the original miniseries.)

In the original, Diana was the sadistic deputy leader of the Visitors who pioneered the mind control experiments on humans. Like the remake's Anna, Diana was not someone to be messed with.

While appearing on a British chat show on Sunday night, actor Mickey Rourke discussed his plans to play openly gay rugby player Gareth Thomas. But when the show's openly gay host Alan Carr put it like that to Rourke, the actor gently scolded him. "You're not supposed to say that," Rourke said, pointing his finger.
