Disney's Pair of Kings Takes Viewers on a Magic Ride

Posted: 09 Sep 2010 07:01 PM PDT

Imagine a world where you could have a twin of another race, date a mermaid, and be a king as a teenager. That's what life is like on Disney's latest action-adventure series Pair of Kings. Starring Doc Shaw (The Suite Life on Deck) and Mitchel Musso (Hannah Montana), Kings will premiere on Disney, then moves over to Disney XD, the company's more male-oriented station. But co-star Kelsey Chow (One Tree Hill) says girls have a reason to tune in as well. "We've got a lot of cute boys and (my character) Michaela is a good role model for girls," she told TVGuide.com on a recent visit to the set. Shaw also tells us what's so special about the island of Kinkow and why being a king isn't all it's cracked up to be.

Joe Manganiello Talks 'True Blood' Season 3 Finale: Alcide's 'Gonna Take Care Of Some Business'

By Jolie Lash

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- In one summer, "True Blood's" Joe Manganiello has gone from rising star, to the hot hunk on everyone's lips.

When AccessHollywood.com first spoke to the Pittsburgh-bred actor earlier this summer -- on the eve of his personal premiere (in episode 3) of the acclaimed HBO series -- he was buzzing and excited about welcoming family and friends to a small party to celebrate his work as Bon Temps' newest arrival. He was thrilled to have won the role of the werewolf Alcide and found it a kick that a few people at his gym, hip to "True Blood" casting news, had recognized him and offered some early enthusiasm.

Now, things are a different story... a bigger one.

Dancing's Maks Sticking with Pre-Season Game Plan

Posted: 09 Sep 2010 06:12 PM PDT

Hi everyone,

How are you? Hope you had a great week!

Brandy and I are still hard at work on our dances. I feel like a broken record, but everything is going great. I have my game plan that I'm going to stick with. I've done this for so long now that I know that these three weeks of rehearsals can go one or two ways. If the person is not very good at picking up choreography, they need as much time as they can get. If they are more comfortable with dancing, moving their bodies and interpreting music, which is what dance is, they have an easier time obviously. If that person does have an easier time, what do you do with three weeks? We are just given our first two dances — Viennese waltz and the jive (not the cha-cha anymore!) — and I personally think it's pointless introduce the celebrities to more than that in the first three weeks.

In Brandy's case, she's doing very well. We just finished our Viennese waltz. It's great and good enough ...
